We’ve heard some rumors…What’s happening at Jägerberg?

Depending on what rumors you’ve heard, one of them is true:  Jägerberg is getting a new owner!  We are super excited to officially announce that Cordelia Schreiber, formerly of Ze Windham Wine Bar in Windham, will be the new owner of Jägerberg Beer Hall & Alpine Tavern, starting April 22, 2024.

Who is Cordelia?

Cordelia was born and raised in the mountaintop community and is a graduate of WAJ. After moving back to New York from California 11 years ago she dreamed up Ze Windham Wine Bar along with her parents Peter and Jessika, natives of Germany and Sweden respectively. Together they created the whimsical space that has brought visitors and locals alike immense joy over the past nine years. Ze Wine Bar is now expanding to Main Street Hunter uniting the Jägerberg concept to Ze Wine Bar; marrying delicious cuisine, an amazing beer and cocktail program to a Sommelier led wine program. In other words a dream come true.

Will Jägerberg still be Jägerberg?

Yes!  Jägerberg will still be Jägerberg PLUS the addition of Cordelia’s wine bar program.  That means more wine, better wine, weekly Wine School (on Tuesdays), as well as the beer and cocktails you’ve come to love.  It will be the marriage of two great ideas under one roof.

Will the menu be the same?  Will I still be able to get Schnitzel and Flammkuchen And all of my other favorites?

Yes!  The other great news is that Chef Christie Flanagan will continue to helm the kitchen.  So while you can still expect the same great food, you can also expect the reintroduction of special wine dinners and expanded kitchen hours.

Will the staff still be the same?

Yes!  Along with Chef Christie, all current staff will be offered their same positions with Cordelia, and Cordelia will be bringing some of her wine bar staff to work at Jägerberg

Will Kim still be involved?

As of April 22, 2024, Kim will no longer be part of the Jägerberg family.  She is very happy that the vision she had 7 years ago was realized and exists in the hearts and minds of thousands of customers.    She is very happy that Jägerberg is moving forward with someone who has fresh vision and energy to take it to the next level..
